Why do you use maltodextrin?Updated 3 months ago

Some of the premium ingredients we use — like fruit juice, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce — start as liquids. To include them in a powdered product, they must first be spray dried into a powder form.

Maltodextrin is a starch that serves as a carrier during this spray drying process. It helps convert liquid ingredients into powders by binding and protecting their nutrients and flavors as they dry. This allows the ingredients to remain shelf-stable, easy to mix, and consistent in flavor and texture.

We use only the minimal amount of maltodextrin necessary to perform this function — never as a filler or sweetener.
